Morning/Afternoon Masses will resume on Tuesday, June 2nd. There are NO Wednesday Mass at any one of our three sister Parishes, (SROLGC, OLQHGS, St. Jude) until further notice, to allow things to stabilize, but First Friday Mass will still continue at the usual time of 8.30 am at St. Jude. This means, there will be morning Mass every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30am, and on every First Friday of each month at the same time at St. Jude and STROLGC. OLQH-GS daily Masses are at 12:00 noon in the Chapel (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. In the meantime, we thank all those generous parishioners who continued to mail their weekly envelopes to their church despite the chal- lenges of this difficult time. You are truly appreciated and admired, because you are the reason why your church is still moving forward despite the obvious challenges we all are confronting. May God's blessing rest upon you! You are indeed a blessing to your faith-community. Your selfless sacrifice is appreciated.
As we already know by now, during this scary time, no choir may operate in any of our churches without the mandatory 10ft space from each choir member. Since this may be very daunting in our situation here, it is recommended for the time being that only the Organist and possibly a cantor sing at each Mass till further notice. This also means that there won't be any choir rehearsals during this period till the late September or thereabouts. Without a doubt, we live in an unusual time this period, and therefore, we are to practice "unusual things" in order to survive the pandemic. Thanks for cooperation.
For those unable to receive the Eucharist:
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love
You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot
now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I
embrace You as if You were already there, and unite my-self wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
